A tiny fingernail in a pot of gumbo became a lesson about Matthew 23: we often obsess over small outward flaws while ignoring what matters most on the inside. Jesus warned the Pharisees that a polished exterior means little if the heart remains unchanged. God is not looking for perfect appearances—He is looking for transformed hearts.
